Download AudioBooks & Videos at Home
Take a journey without leaving home
Enjoy hundreds of downloadable, digital audio books, eBooks and videos from any home computer with Internet access. The library currently offers downloadable audio books, eBooks and videos through two services, NetLibrary and OverDrive. These services are available with any UHLS library card.
Playaway - Now Available!
Playaways are mini digital audio players with a book preloaded. All you need to do is turn it on and listen! Use your own earphones, or purchase earbuds at the circulation desk for $1.00 each pair. Our Playaways are available at the library for one-week loan, with no advance reserve. To check them out, bring the case to the Circulation Desk. Fines are $.25 per day for late returns. If you like these, ask about our downloadable audio books for use on your own MP3 player, via Overdrive or netLibrary.
Please note that OverDrive Media Console version 2.0 (or later) is required for OverDrive Video titles.
